Start or Reactivate a Chapter
Congratulations! You’ve made the decision to become an FBLA adviser. You are starting on a journey that is bound to offer many rewards for you and your students. Below, you’ll find the steps and resources you need to get a chapter started at your school!
There are basic steps to follow to start a new chapter:
1. Complete the New or Reactivated Chapter Form.
2. Connect with your state leader and our membership team.
3. We will be sending you a Chapter Welcome Kit.
4. Meet with your school administration to request permission to start a new program and to gain support for the FBLA Chapter.
5. Identify one or more possible advisers (technical instructors, a career counselor, or another interested person within the school) to help with the new chapter.
6. Gain support from other faculty members if you plan to involve students from other programs.
