Attention all FBLA Members! We are excited to announce the FBLA Equedi Online Profile Contest, beginning on January 1, 2024. Utilizing the Equedi Platform, members are invited to showcase their creativity and online skills by designing and building their online profiles. The best profiles will be selected to compete in the Equedi Online Profiles contest finals at the FBLA conference in Orlando on June 29-July 2, 2024.
Take advantage of this opportunity to demonstrate your talents and represent your professional brand at the FBLA National Level both in-person and virtual. The top three finalists of each section (virtual & in-person) will receive scholarship awards and recognition for their exceptional online profiles. Equedi is a professional network designed to showcase your skills and experiences by network with other students colleges and corporations . Contest General Information
Topic:
Online profiles will focus on personal and professional development, community service, and work experience. Networking with other students will be the focus of this years contest.
Online Format:
Profiles must be completed online on the Equedi Platform. Equedi is available on the web, App Store, and Play Store. The APP is free for all FBLA Students. Use the profile to put your best foot forward and highlight what makes you shine.
Content:
Profiles will include all Equedi cards, including photos, etc. Usage of all the features of the Equedi platform, including connections.
Deadlines:
Completing your profile for contest consideration is June 1, 2024. The contest evaluation team will review all profiles. Semi-finalists for interviews at the FBLA NLC will be scheduled for online interviews. Finalists will be notified by June 15, 2024 and interviewed at the Equedi exhibit booth in the FBLA Future Leaders Expo Hall. The interviews will be held June 29 – July 1, 2024 and winners will be announced on stage at the FBLA Awards Ceremony.
Judging Criteria:
Profiles will be judged on the quality of the content, the extent in which the platform is being utilized, the connections, the tips on the contest program page incorporated, the photos, and the media used.
Note:
This competition is a partnership agreement with Equedi and FBLA and does not count towards the number of competitions students may participate in at the National Leadership Conference.

For Participating:
All participants will be eligible for inclusion in the Equedi Edge Student ambassador program and will receive a certificate of participation along with a digital badge on their Equedi profile.
In-Person Prizes*:
The ten finalists will all receive trophies, plaques and medals on stage at the National Leadership Conference. The winners ranked 1, 2, and 3 will receive a cash scholarship and a large check on stage at the National Leadership Conference (listed below).
First Place: $500 scholarship
Second Place: $300 scholarship
Third Place: $150 scholarship
Online-only Prizes*:

The top 3 virtual finalists will receive a cash scholarship, plaques and medals (listed below).
