Crestwood High School FBLA Supports The Walk to End Alzheimer’s (PA)

Today, nearly 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease, and over 11 million serve as their caregivers. Future Business Leaders of America has been proud to partner with the Alzheimer’s Association and offer a partner program to encourage our members to participate in activities like The Virtual Walk to NLC and The Walk to End Alzheimer’s throughout the program year which support the Alzheimer’s Organization’s mission. Last year, our chapters raised more than $65,000 to support research and care programs. On October 18, 2025, Crestwood High School FBLA proudly participated in The Walk to End Alzheimer’s at PNC Field in Moosic, Pennsylvania. The chapter raised $1,851 in donations to support the Alzheimer’s Association and volunteered their time assisting with event setup and the Kids Corner, helping to make the day a memorable success for all participants.

As the world’s largest event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research, The Walk to End Alzheimer’s brings communities together to honor those affected by the disease. Crestwood FBLA members joined hundreds of participants in honoring those impacted by the disease and supporting the fight for a world without Alzheimer’s.Two young women select large purple flower pinwheels at an outdoor event, surrounded by other participants wearing purple shirts. “Giving back to our community is a big part of what FBLA stands for,” said Christy Laubach, chapter adviser. “We are proud to support such an important cause and make a difference together.”

Crestwood FBLA’s involvement in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s highlights the organization’s continued commitment to community service, leadership, and civic engagement.
