LifeSmarts is a national educational competition focused on personal finance and consumer topics. As a proud partner of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), it complements the curriculum already in place in schools.
The FBLA LifeSmarts competition begins with the online challenge, with top-scoring teams advancing to live, in-person competition at the National Leadership Conference. Teams of two FBLA LifeSmarts pair up to compete individually and as a team.
Twenty states and 174 teams competed in the 2025 LifeSmarts Fall Challenge. Congratulations to the following 12 teams that qualified to compete at the 2026 FBLA National Leadership Conference in San Antonio:
