Example Roles
The following are example roles, but these can vary by event. Click here to view specific opportunities and to start the volunteer process.
Competitive Events Judges
Volunteers are invited to judge student presentations covering more than 100 skill areas and provide constructive feedback to nationally-qualified competitors. Judges will receive training and a scoring rubric.
Career Speed Networking
Engage in a series of brief informational interviews with students, sharing insights into your industry and career path. Provide advice, answer questions, and offer constructive feedback to help students explore different career options. No preparation needed.
Resume Reviewers
Human resource professionals are requested to provide feedback on resumes and/or LinkedIn profiles to members of our college division in a one-on-one setting. Students will then be given the opportunity to learn more about career paths through informal informational interviews with their resume reviewer. Each session will last approximately 20 minutes, and reviewers will be provided with an advisery guide with tips for feedback.
Case Competition Judges
Volunteers are invited to judge student presentations during our case competitions. Judges will receive training and will be provided with scoring rubrics.
Scholarship Reviewers
Support the next generation of leaders by evaluating student scholarship applications. Volunteers will review submitted materials based on established criteria and provide thoughtful assessments to help determine award recipients. This is a virtual opportunity, allowing you to participate from anywhere at your convenience within the designated review period. Instructions and scoring guidelines will be provided.
Workshop Presenter
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to join a 45-minute workshop designed to give attendees practical skills and insights that can be applied in both personal and professional settings.
