Adviser Access to Virtual Business Challenge Simulation
Advisers can preview the same Virtual Business Challenge competition simulation students will use during the qualifying round, helping you understand the challenge environment, expectations, and built-in objectives ahead of time. Read the guide to learn how to access the simulation and prepare your students for success.
Virtual Business Finance Challenge
Knowledge Matters is sponsoring the Virtual Business Finance Challenge. This challenge will be based on the Virtual Business–Personal Finance Online simulation. FBLA members will use the simulation to test their skills at managing their own financial lives and will compete against students across the country. Members will experience real world financial issues such as budgeting, saving, opening bank accounts, getting a credit card, monitoring credit scores, education and advancement, online banking, paying taxes, finding a job, insurance, and more.
Team registration for this event will begin on Tuesday, October 1, 2025. There will be two rounds (Challenges) held via the Internet during the school year.
The first challenge is October 14, 2025, 10:00AM ET – November 7, 2025, 5:00PM ET.
The second challenge is February 2, 2026, 10:00AM ET – February 27, 2026, 5:00PM ET.
The top 20 nationally ranked teams from each qualifying round will qualify to compete in a virtual final round to take place online in May. Only one team per state per round may qualify.

Virtual Business Management Challenge
Knowledge Matters is sponsoring the Virtual Business Management Challenge. This challenge will be based on the Virtual Business–Management Online simulation. FBLA members will use the simulation to test their skills at managing their own manufacturing business and will compete against students across the country. Members will experience real world business concepts such as recruiting, hiring and supervising employees, productivity and efficiency, sales, risk management, and more.
Team registration for this event will begin on Tuesday, October 1, 2025. There will be two rounds (Challenges) held via the Internet during the school year.
The first challenge is October 14, 2025, 10:00AM ET – November 7, 2025, 5:00PM ET.
The second challenge is February 2, 2026, 10:00AM ET – February 27, 2026, 5:00PM ET.
The top 20 nationally ranked teams from each qualifying round will qualify to compete in a virtual final round to take place online March 31 – April 4, 2026. Only one team per state per round may qualify.

Awards & Recognition
The top three teams in both the Virtual Business Finance Challenge and the Virtual Business Management Challenge will receive a cash prize. These teams will also be recognized at the National Leadership Conference during the Regional Campaign Rally & Recognition Session.
