Long Island University

Long Island University (LIU), founded in 1926, continues to redefine higher education, providing high quality academic instruction by world-class faculty. Recognized by Forbes for its emphasis on experiential learning and by the Brookings Institution for its “value added” to student outcomes, LIU offers over 220 degree programs, with a network of over 285,000 alumni that includes industry leaders from Fortune 500 companies and entrepreneurs across the globe.

Long Island University is strategically located in the New York City metro area with campuses in Brooklyn and Long Island. LIU Brooklyn is an 11-acre campus located in the heart of downtown Brooklyn, just a short subway ride from Manhattan. The School of Business offers Accountancy, Artificial Intelligence, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, and Marketing.  LIU Brooklyn’s campus offers more professional programs in health care than any other campus in the New York metropolitan area, including the Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy & Health Science, and The Harriet Rothkopf Heilbrunn School of Nursing. LIU Brooklyn is home to Kumble Theater for the Performing Arts, a dynamic performance venue designed to nourish students’ artistic exploration, and Division I sports teams.

LIU Post is a scenic, historic, and scholarly campus that offers a small-school environment with the access and resources of a major metropolitan university. The University's 330-acre campus is located on the estate of Marjorie Merriweather Post, 27 miles east of New York City on Long Island's Gold Coast. The campus houses The College of Management with Artificial Intelligence, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Entrepreneurship, Fashion Merchandising & Management, Finance, Marketing, and Sports Management; as well as the first professional School of Accountancy, the College of Veterinary Medicine, and an award-winning theater program. LIU is home to the world-renowned Tilles Center for the Performing Arts and the Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium, where supporters gather to cheer on the Sharks’ Division I athletic program.

The College of Management at LIU Post is an AACSB-accredited Business School—a distinction given to only 5% of business schools internationally. It has been named to the Princeton Review’s list of “The Best Business Schools” for 18 consecutive years and is a “Best College of Business” by Niche.com.

LIU offers a variety of engaged learning opportunities, such as LIU Trading Floor and LIU Incubator Space, along with student-run businesses, including The Student Body Collective, Browse: Certified Apple Tech Store, LIU-iQ Consulting, LIU-iF Student Investment Fund, and SharkNation Spirit Shop.

LIU Global offers a one-of-a-kind bachelor’s degree earned the globe. Students spend 4 semesters on 4 continents and prepare for careers as global leaders in business, policy, humanitarian relief, social entrepreneurship, economic development, and environmental sustainability.

Over $100 million in scholarships are awarded to students every year.  LIU enables students to realize their full potential as ethically grounded, intellectually vigorous, and socially responsible global citizens.

These modules take learners through the basics of digital marketing – from starting a campaign through to executing and measuring a campaign. The Educators Portal currently offers:
    • 28 lessons and 12 quizzes, with corresponding online learning to reinforce engagement and mastery outside of lessons.
    • Presentation materials and student activities
    • A content module on distance learning
    • Facilitator notes and suggested teaching time
    • Case studies
  • Online Content – with six hours of free online content, your students can continue learning about Facebook’s digital marketing solutions at their own pace.
  • Facebook Certified Digital Marketing Associate Certification – through the Blueprint Certification, learners can be sure they have the confidence to reach their career goals with digital marketing skills across Facebook, Instagram and Messenger.

You can learn more about the Educators Portal resources and the higher education program in this informational video.

  2. Take Meat Stick Pre-Orders. After you create your account, grab a few of our handy pre-order forms and start taking pre-orders. Get your friends, family members, and co-workers to commit to their favorite flavors in whatever quantity they desire. Aggregate the orders, purchase the product*, and then deliver delicious meat sticks to your eager customers. *Pre-orders must be purchased by calling us at 1-800-277-8989.
  3. Online Fundraising. Go digital with your fundraising efforts. When you create an account, just indicate that you'd like to participate in online fundraising and we'll provide you with a custom ordering URL. Spread the word to your friends, family members, and coworkers near or far and send them your URL - every order placed through your custom link effortlessly generates funds for your cause!

You pay just $.75 for each meat stick that you'll sell for $1.50. That means you get to keep 50% of the proceeds from each meat stick - that's a whopping $113 for every case you sell! Regardless of which method (or methods!) you choose, our generous profit-sharing model will have you well on your way to your fundraising goals in no time.

Whatever your cause, our selection of sweet, savory, and spicy meat sticks will have your classmates, friends, family members, and neighbors lining up to support your nonprofit. Still not sold? Check out our FAQsorder a free sample pack, or send us an email - we're here to help!

Eagle U

Eagle U is one of the country's premier youth leadership retreat experiences for students between the ages of 15 to 25+ years old, designed to give students a 7-year head start on their career and life! Eagle U was co-founded in the early 1990’s by Steve Anderson. As an entrepreneur and mentor to thousands of professionals and business executives, Steve identified "natural laws" of human behavior and designed systems to accomplish predictable, consistent results in business and in life. Students who attend Eagle U experience 5 intense days of fun and learning that will change the trajectory of their entire life. At Eagle U students will learn success principles from today's business leaders and role models, as well as techniques and systems that will help them move more rapidly through their education and skip the trial and error process to find a career that fits them in which they will excel. By the end of the week, every single student will leave with a roadmap that will lead them wherever they wish to go!

The Eagle U curriculum includes career planning strategies, identifying core values, strategic goal setting, study skills, performance psychology, public speaking, interviewing skills, communication skills, time management, how to dress for success, etiquette, digital media strategy, networking and much, much more! The structure of the program is a combination of seminars, keynote speakers, hands-on activities, and small group discussions. On the second to last day of the program, each student will partake in the Mentor Roundtable - every year this part of our program is one of the most impactful experiences our students have (and on more than one occasion our students have left the roundtable with a job offer in hand...). The Roundtable is an opportunity for our students to learn from successful individuals from all kinds of industries and backgrounds. We have a saying at Eagle U, “It takes a lifetime to learn from your own experiences, but it only takes a conversation to learn from someone else’s. Why create mediocrity when you can copy genius?”. We want our students to be able to “borrow” experiences and knowledge from people who have already mastered their field. Not only is this a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn the secrets of success from individuals that have done it, but it is also an excellent opportunity for our students to practice their interview and communication skills.

The entire program is hosted on a university campus. Students will be in a small group of 8-12 other students around their same age and will be led by an experienced and trained Team Leader. All students will eat and sleep on campus. Student tuition/sponsorship covers the entire cost of the program - seminars, activities, materials, student "swag", housing, and meals. The only cost tuition does not cover is the cost of travel to and from the program should a student be traveling from out of state - however, Eagle U does provide complimentary private transportation to and from the airport.

For more information or to register for the retreat, contact Executive Director Taylor Lowe at [email protected] or (303) 525-8878.
