Yasha Nagathan
Yasha Nagathan, a senior at Green Level High School in North Carolina, is honored to serve as the FBLA National President.
Her FBLA journey started in 6th grade, and since then she has dedicated 7 years of serving at the local, state, and national levels, delivering record-breaking results. She has led 6,300+ members as a 3x NC FBLA State Officer (2x State President, 1x State VP), served 200,000+ members as a 2x National Council Director, has led her chapter as a 4x Local Officer and currently serves as chapter president.
During her tenure of transformative leadership, she launched the first NC FBLA State President’s Council, executed a 33+ objective state program of work, spearheaded State Hurricane Helene efforts, hosted a record-breaking Regional Leadership Conference, co-authored the National Membership Prospectus, and led many more initiatives.
Yasha has attended 30 FBLA Conferences, 15 of which she has been a featured speaker. Her FBLA competitive event awards include: 2x National Winner, 3x 1st Place State Winner, and 7 State Awards.
Outside of FBLA, some of her other involvements include a part time job at Bojangles, President of Investment Club, and an avid public speaker who has spoken to 43,000 people. In her free time, she loves trying new cuisines, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
She is excited to lead the high school and middle school divisions to new heights as National President and inspire all of FBLA to make their mark this year.
