North Metro Technical College PBL in Georgia attended a kickoff breakfast for volunteers in the mentor program at Allatoona Elementary School in Acworth. PBL members became mentors to the students at the school and visit, enjoy lunch, and read. The local chapter voted to make this one of their many ongoing events for community service. Allatoona Elementary principal said that because of the mentor program at his school, test scores had improved over 60 percent.
