FBLA Community Service Project in Campbell
FBLA members of the 2010-2011 school year went to Campbell on Wednesday, October 6th, 2010, for one of their community service projects in the school district. On this project, you could find the students re-painting the town's fire hydrants, with different colors meaning different amounts of pressure, as well as fences in the town.
Given the day off for a teacher in-service day, 35 of the 45 FBLA members drove down to Campbell to get their hands dirty to make their local community look better. Members painted over 20 fire hydrants around town and a fence in front of the Doctors Clinic in a 2-hour time period.
The Silver Lake FBLA members plan to complete a community service project in all four communities of the school district before the year's end: Campbell, Bladen, Roseland, and Holstein.
