Little Falls HS FBLA's "One Week Day Wonder" Benefits the March of Dimes
On Friday, February 15, 2008, during the morning forum at little Falls High School, Little Falls New York, the Future Business Leaders of America’s President, Julie Cardinal presented a $429.74 check to March of Dimes representative, Diana Haldenwang. The money was raised during the “One Week Day Wonder” that was held in December. For one day, seventeen teachers agreed to be pied in the face. Students bought tickets for $1 and placed them in the teacher’s canisters. At the end of the day, a name was drawn from each canister and the winning students pied the teacher. The pieing took place during an all school assembly program.
Students and faculty members enjoyed a fun-filled event while raising money for the fight against birth defects and premature births.
