South View High School Attends The Southeast Region Competitive Events Contest
South View High School hosted the 2008 Future Business Leaders of America Southeast Region Competitive Events on January 25, 2008 at Fayetteville Technical Community College ( FTCC). This event tested the knowledge and skills of students to prepare them to become proper business leaders.
South View High School had five first place winners. Brittany Washington, Accounting I; Briana Lassiter, Business Communications; Corey Hill, Business Procedures; Shenai Britton, Public Speaking II; and Jessica Rousey, Word Processing II. Congratulations winners!!
We were honored with the following guest speakers: Ms. Suzanne Tucker, Director of Career and Technical Education (CTE), Mr. Brian Edkins, Principal of South View High School, and FTCC Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA on a college level) President, David Shelton, gave us words of encouragement. Judge Edward Pone gave a motivational speech during entertainment time.
